The BRAIN Multi-Council Working Group, which works to ensure a coordinated and focused effort on BRAIN across NIH, will hold a virtual meeting on August 25, 2015.

The third meeting of the BRAIN Multi-Council Working Group, which works to ensure a coordinated and focused effort on BRAIN across NIH, will hold a virtual meeting on July 30, 2015.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together stakeholders and interested parties to disseminate information on opportunities for research using latest-generation devices for CNS neuromodulation and interfacing with the brain in humans.

On April 21-22, 2015, the NIH sponsored a workshop entitled “Defining Cellular Phenotype” to assist in gaining a better understanding of functional cell types in the brain. The goals of the workshop were to share information on how investigators are currently describing cellular phenotype and to determine whether there are novel approaches to better quantify, evaluate, understand, and communicate this complex concept.

The BRAIN Initiative Investigators Kickoff Meeting took place on November 20-21, 2014.

The first meeting of the Multi-Council Working Group occurred Monday, August 25, 2014, on the NIH Campus.
